Good News Club helps take the church to the streets!
Children in our communities are being lost to a life of sin and sadness. Each day more children are victims of homicide, abuse, and neglect. Many children turn to substances and/or gangs to cope. As Christians we have the responsibility to share hope with these precious children. Good News Clubs provide a method for churches and individuals to go outside of the walls of their homes and churches and take the good news of Jesus Christ to children right where they are, schools, community centers, daycares, etc.
Good News Clubs meet one day a week throughout the school year for 60-90 minutes. At Good News Club, children are challenged to live a life of good character through Bible lessons, songs, memory verses, small group mentoring, games, and much more! In 2001, the United States Supreme Court ruled that Good News Clubs can have equal access to public schools.
